MoneyMitra
Enable or reconnect notification access
Open MoneyMitra Settings → Automatic capture and use the notification-access control to open Android settings. Allow access for MoneyMitra, then return to the app and check its capture status. If access is enabled but capture is disconnected, reconnect from the capture settings. Android’s wording varies by device.
Automatic capture reads future notifications from supported payment and banking apps; it does not import your bank history. Check that the payment app itself can show notifications. You can turn access off in Android settings and continue adding entries manually.
Restore an encrypted backup
- Save a fresh backup of the data currently on your phone before restoring.
- Open Settings → Backup & restore → Choose backup to restore.
- Select your backup from your device or cloud file provider, enter its password and review the confirmation.
- Restore replaces current records and settings. The app keeps a device-encrypted pre-restore copy under Previous data recovery until the next restore; uninstalling removes that copy.
We cannot recover a forgotten backup password. CSV and PDF exports are reports, not full backups. Do not send backup files or passwords to support.
Restore “Remove ads”
Make sure Google Play uses the same Google account that bought Remove ads and that your phone is online. In MoneyMitra, open Settings → Privacy & alerts and select Already bought? Restore purchase in the Remove ads section. If the purchase is not recognised, confirm it appears in that account’s Google Play order history and contact us with the error message. Do not buy it again to troubleshoot.
IoTForge
If a broker connection fails
- Check the broker hostname, port and TCP/TLS setting against your broker’s configuration. Use the configured MQTT listener, not the broker’s web dashboard address.
- Confirm your phone can reach the broker’s network. Private brokers may require the correct Wi-Fi or VPN; a loopback address points to the phone itself.
- Check your username, password and broker access rules. Use a distinct client ID if another client keeps disconnecting you.
- For TLS, check the server name, certificate validity, device date, required CA trust and any Android KeyChain client identity. Correct certificate problems rather than disabling verification.
Connected, but no messages?
Check the selected workspace and connection, your topic subscription and the broker’s publish/subscribe permissions. Topic names are case-sensitive. Confirm that another client is publishing to the expected topic and review any message filters. Use connection diagnostics when reporting an issue.
Universal MCP Client
Start with a server
- Set up a screen lock on Android and unlock Universal MCP using device authentication.
- Use the included Microsoft Learn example or add your own HTTPS MCP endpoint.
- Select the authentication method required by the server. For OAuth, review provider details before opening sign-in.
- Test the connection, browse its tools, enter the required arguments and review the confirmation before execution.
Private endpoints need a reachable network connection. The app does not provide access to private servers or accounts.
If a connection fails
Check the endpoint URL, internet access, authentication and server availability. Sign-in may require a provider-approved OAuth client or updated permissions. If a tool’s outcome is unknown after interruption, check the destination before running it again.
Manage or delete local data
Use Activity history to clear records or adjust retention. Disable payload retention to remove retained payloads for a profile. Delete profiles you no longer need. Clearing Android app storage removes local app data, including connections and credentials.
Report a problem
Email [email protected] with the app name and version, Android version, device model, steps to reproduce and visible error. If you attach a screenshot or diagnostics, review and redact them first.
Leave out passwords, OAuth tokens, broker secrets, private keys, private server addresses, transaction details, backup files and confidential tool results.
